As a trainer who loves her job and is obsessed with all things fitness and exercise related, it wasn’t always like that for me.

Growing up over weight and being bullied for most of middle school life, I felt alone and depressed. One day I decided I didn’t want to live like that anymore, so like any young teen I went on a diet and I dropped a bunch of weight, but had no muscle on me. I decided I was content and continued through life until I turned 18 and joined a gym.

I had no idea what to do, or where to start. Like any person who is new to something, I went to something I knew, how to use the treadmill! I started running and became obsessed with it. I loved the feeling during and after. I then decided to join a running group. I started with a 5km than a 10km than before I knew it, I was training for a half marathon and then another half marathon!

A year or so later, I wanted to explore a different area of fitness, I was then introduced to weightlifting! I loved it instantly. I got into a healthy routine of eating well combined with resistance training. In no time, my body transformed. My lean muscle mass was increasing, my body fat mass was decreasing, my strength and muscle endurance was the best it has ever been. I was in the best shape of my life.

It was a feeling like no other, finishing a hard workout, that feeling of satisfaction afterwards, something you worked so hard for, and no one could take it away from you.

After many years of working out, being consistent with my routine, and seeing amazing results on my own body both mentally and physically, I decided I wanted to become a Certified Personal Trainer.

The passion I have for helping people reach their health and fitness goals is the most rewarding feeling to me like no other. I love my job and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

Fitness is now my lifestyle. I dabble in everything such as; weight lifting, jogging, biking, and kangoo jumping. You name it and I’ve probably tried it!

My goal here is to help you reach your fitness goal, no matter how big, or small they are. I want you to work hard, but also enjoy what you are doing! I want to help you become the best version of yourself!
