While my childhood was filled with competitive soccer and team sports, it wasn’t until my teenage years that I discovered the gym, which launched my independent fitness journey and wellness transformation. Not only was I able to improve my physique and rid myself of pesky knee pain, but I also experienced a plethora of other benefits. These include improvements in my confidence, quality of life and energy levels, as well as feelings of empowerment and fulfillment; all things that I bring into my coaching practice today.
At that point in time, I could not imagine my life without the gym. I was finishing off my undergrad until I was involved in a car accident that changed every aspect of how I lived. I sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury which unlocked a whole new perspective on exercise and life. I went from training like an athlete that had always been physically active, to starting over from square one, navigating through my condition while rebuilding my strength and stamina.
Today, as a certified Personal Trainer and Wellness Coach with a B.A. in Psychology, I bring my experience and education to help empower and guide my clients to create that life of fulfillment and reach their wellness goals.
